Cape Jervis to Penneshaw Ferry
It is only a 45 minute trip from the mainland at Cape Jervis to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island via the strait known as the Backstairs Passway. Flinders Chase National Park

Flinders Chase National Park is located 110kms west of the town of Kingscote. The park is the gateway to Admirals Arch, Remarkable Rocks and other attractions including wild beaches, the unspoilt Rocky River, vast wilderness areas and cultural heritage sites – including two lighthouses.
The Flinders Chase Visitor Centre is open 9am-5pm daily (except Christmas Day).

Seal Bay Conservation Park

Seal Bay is located 45 minutes from Kingscote on the southern tip of Kangaroo Island. It is home to the 3rd largest colony of Australian Sea Lions. Entry to the Visitor Centre is free, while access to Seal Bay and to see the sea lions whether for a guided tours or a self-guided boardwalk experience does require an entry fee.
