Gorge Wildlife Park is approx 25km or a 40 minute drive from Adelaide CBD and located on Gorge Road/Tourist Drive 58.

The Gorge Wildlife Park opened in 1965 and is still operated by the same family. Situated on 14 acres of landit is one of the largest privately owned collection of Australian and exotic animals, birds and reptiles in the country. The park offers you an up close and personal experience with wildlife.

To get to Gorge Wildlife Park you need to catch 2 buses.


On weekdays catch the M44 from the U1 bus stop on Victoria Square to Tea Tree Plaza.  You need to catch the 8.06am to arrive in time for the connecting 801 SA LINK service that departs at 9am from Zone H at the Modbury Interchange, which will bring you Gorge Wildlife Park.


* Weekdays


  • Zone H Bus 801 Departs 9.00 am (arrives 9.25am) to Gorge and returns at 1.35pm or 2.45pm from Gorge Wildlife Park.


* Saturdays


  • Zone H Bus 800/801 departs 10.15am and 12.40pm from Tea Tree Plaza.
  • Zone H Bus 800/801 Departs 12.40pm and arrives at us 1.02pm. Returns 12.05pm and 3.45pm from Gorge Wildlife Park.
